Ringo tiene su oportunidad una vez mas (aunque en esta ocasión estuvo a punto de perderla) En una melodía de estilo country, Ringo usa su limitada, aunque muy característica voz para demostrar que es un chico que está “triste y solo (sad and lonely)”. Las voces de Paul son ciertamente destacables, y de manera muy especial en la última estrofa.
